Dr. Golzar is on the cutting edge of PAD treatments.  As an interventional cardiologist with Advocate Medical Group in Chicago, he has helped patients regain their lives by reducing leg pain, reversing gangrene and most importantly, preventing amputations. His passion for PAD patients lead him to create a multi-specialty Limb Salvage Program at Advocate Trinity Hospital. Dr. Golzar currently maintains a part-time clinical practice and serves as Avinger’s Chief Medical Officer.
